On June 19, 1865, 156 years ago, all people living in the United States, including the formerly enslaved, were officially granted freedom. This date is now celebrated as Juneteenth (also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day or Emancipation Day) and is a day to honor, remember, and celebrate liberation.
At FineLine HR Consulting, we recognize and celebrate the history and significance of this day and reflect on the importance of employment laws that prohibit discrimination of all kinds, including color and race. We also celebrate our nation’s newest federal holiday.
We are here to assist employers to educate and train their employees on these important laws and to create and implement policies and practice that ensure fair treatment of all employees regardless of their color, race, and other protected statuses.
